Two Trips To The Zoo (Both in April 2009)
Valentine's 2009
We celebrated Valentine's Day on 2/13 with a party, complete with treats, goodie bags and Valentine Bingo. The kids were very happy to win prizes and eat lots of good food.
Halloween Party
We got together with two other daycare groups and had an awesome Halloween party, complete with mummy pizzas, witches brew and couldron cupcakes. The kids also made popcorn hands.
Lakeview Farms
We had a great time at Lakeview Farms. The kids got a lesson on how bread is made (wheat to flour to bread), rode a train and a ferry, picked a pumpkin and had a picnic snack. Afterwards the whole gang went out to lunch at McDonalds.
Pirate Party 9/26/08
The kids had fun going on a pirate treasure hunt, complete with treasure maps, hats and eye patches, and treasure chests of goodies. We read a pirate story, ate pirate cupcakes and made parrots out of toilet paper rolls.
Duyck's Peachy Pig Farm 9/19/08
The kids had a blast at the farm, feeding and petting the animals and taking home a fresh piece of fruit.
