Payments are due on Mondays (or first day of care) for the week in advance.  Parents may choose to pay every other week or monthly, so long as it is received in advance of care.  Parents are paying for a spot and will be charged regardless of attendance.  Every parent is allowed 2 weeks (10 days) of unpaid vacation time.  I will take 2 weeks unpaid vacation time as well.

A $50.00 deposit is required to hold a child's spot.

Holidays

Daycare will be closed on the following days:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday)
Christmas Eve
Christmas

**Occasionally I will be open on the lesser holidays ( ie.4th of July) at an increased rate for those needing care.  I will give parents 2 weeks notice if I choose to remain open on those days.

***If a holiday falls on a weekend, I reserve the right to take the Friday before or the Monday after off, unpaid.

Meals

The children are served Breakfast, Lunch, and an Afternoon Snack.  Small snacks like pretzels and crackers will be available between meals for those needing something to tied them over (especially those arriving too late for meals.)  All meals follow the USDA guidelines and a weekly menu will be posted on the bulletin board in the entry way.

Evening/night care children will be served dinner and an evening snack as needed.

Quiet Time

Every child needs a time to unwind and relax.  For some children, simply lying down is enough, others require sleep.  Each day we will have a period of quiet time, and each child will be required to rest.  It is during this time that I am able to eat a meal, do paperwork, plan activities and reenergize for the rest of the day.

After hours children will be required to rest at 9:00pm.
